Nanooks Fall to Seawolves

FAIRBANKS - The Nanooks dropped their game against the UAA Seawolves on Saturday afternoon, falling by a final of 72-36. With the loss, Alaska falls to 5-8, 0-5 GNAC.

How it Happened

UAA scored the next nine points unanswered before Miranda Lomax and Amelia Brady ended the run with a pair of layups. Reimers and Brady would add two more buckets to bring the deficit to 14-10. However, Alaska could not get things going offensively, and UAA built its lead to 31-15 entering the halftime break.

Jayda Van Dyke was the Nanooks' primary scorer in the third, posting seven points off two layups and a three. However, Alaska still trailed 49-25 entering the fourth despite Taylor Pilot knocking down a jumper as time expired.
