The Nanooks split with the No. 18/18 Arizona State Sun Devils on Friday/Saturday, Feb. 23-24. On Friday, Feb. 23, the Nanooks grabbed a 3-1 win over the Sun Devils using a pair of goals from
Chase Dafoe and the game-winner from

Dafoe tallied the first 5:35 into the third before ASU tied it with just over three minutes remaining. Less than two minutes later, on the power play, Rubtsov redirected the winner into the back of the net from
Cade Neilson. Less than a minute later, Dafoe tallied his second of the night and put the game away for the Nanooks.
Night two saw ASU come back from a 3-1 deficit. Alaska held the advantage, including a 3-2 lead heading into the third, but unfortunately, a power-play goal 3:06 into the third pushed the game to overtime. Only 54 seconds into the extra period, ASU scored the game-winner.
