Last Time Out
The Nanooks were last at the Denver Invitational in Minturn, Colo. at Vail Ski Resort. There they took seventh-place in the Nordic standings with 204 points. They had 100 points and sat in ninth-overall after the first day. On day one they raced in a 10k classic; Mike Ophoff was the top-finisher for the Nanooks, taking 10th with a time of 27:03. Ben Dohlby finished just outside of the top-10 with a 27:26 good for 14th.
In the women's race the Nanooks were led by Elsie Weiss and Aila Berrigan as the two finished in 16th and 25th. Weiss was the top finisher for the women's side with a 32:26 and Berrigan followed behind with a 33:42. On day two the teams participated in a 5k freestyle; the men's side had two top-15 finishers. Dohlby finished in 12th with a time of 12:21.1. Ophoff followed in 15th. In the women's race, Weiss and Berrigan, once again, led the way. Weiss raced her way to a top-10 finish, placing in ninth with a time of 14:23.5. Berrigan finished in 15:02.8, good for 22nd.

- Both the men's and women's teams are in fifth in the separated Nordic categories. The Nanooks men's team is in fifth with 440 points while the women's team is in fifth with 518 points.

We're Back!
The Nanooks will nearly be back at full strength this weekend as racers return to collegiate participation after weeks on the international circuit. Rosie Fordham, Kendall Kramer, Philipp Moosmayer and Tabitha Williams all participated at the FIS World Junior and U23 Ski Championships in Planica, Slovenia on Feb. 5-11.
Mariel Pulles and Christopher Kalev participated at the World Cup in Canmore, Alta. On Feb. 9-13 before heading to Minneapolis, Minn. to participate in the World Cup competition on Feb. 17-18.
Five different countries had Nanooks as Rosie Fordham skied for Team Australia, Kendall Kramer skied for Team USA, Philipp Moosmayer skied for Team Germany, Tabitha Williams skied for Team Great Britain and Mariel Pulles and Christopher Kalev skied for Team Estonia.
Everyone but Max Biergrohslein, Jace Peters, Philipp Moosmayer and Abigail Haas will be at the NCAA Regionals races this weekend.
What's to Come
The final thing on the Nanooks schedule following the NCAA Regionals/RMISA Championships is the NCAA Ski Championships. The Championships are set to take place March 6-9 at Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs, Colo. and the qualifiers will be announced in the coming days.
