Last Time Out
Alaska is fresh off of a sweep at home, taking the win over Western Washington and Simon Fraser last week. On Thursday, Feb. 15, the Nanooks posted 94 points in their 94-82 win over the Vikings. The 94 points scored was a new season-high for the Nanooks and gave them their first win when scoring 90+ in a game. On Saturday, the Nanooks held off a late comeback attempt from the Red Leafs of Simon Fraser to grab a 74-71 victory. The wins over WWU and SFU moved Alaska into eighth-place in the GNAC standings and within possible striking distance of the GNAC Championships.Â
