FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team will be at Mt. McKinley Bank today, Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 3-5 p.m. Come out and meet the 'Nooks ahead of their annual Mt. McKinley Bank North Star Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15-16.

Alaska will be hosting a ticket giveaway and poster signing at the Mt. McKinley Bank Downtown Branch at 500 4th Ave. Come down, meet your favorite Nanooks women's basketball players, take photos, get a signed poster and win tickets to the Mt. McKinley Bank North Star Invitational! Snacks and drinks will also be available at the "Meet the 'Nooks" event today! The Nanooks will play twice in this year's installment of the NSI. The first neutral site game is at 5 p.m. AKST on Friday, Nov. 15 at the Alaska Airlines Gymnasium and will feature the Western Oregon Wolves and Corban Warriors. Your Alaska Nanooks will take the court that night at 7:30 p.m. and face the Western Colorado Mountaineers.

Day two will feature an earlier start for both games. Game one on day two will be Western Oregon versus Western Colorado. The Nanooks will round out the NSI with the Corban Warriors at 5:15 p.m.! Stay after for the trophy presentation and All-Tournament honors.
