FAIRBANKS – The Alaska Nanook volleyball team heads ot the Pacific Northwest for a matchup with Simon Fraser and #20 Western Washington University. They look to keep their winning-streak alive.

Last Time Out
The Nanooks are riding a seven-game winning-streak that was extended with two more wins last week with a four-set win over Seattle Pacific and a straight-set sweep of Montana State Billings.
Rilee White led the way for the Nanooks, averaging 3.43 kills and 2.71digs per set over the entire weekend. She posted a double-double of 15 kills and 12 digs with two blocks and a swing percentage of .361 against SPU and added nine kills and seven digs versus MSUB. White is averaging 2.18 kills and 1.94 digs per set this season.
Emily Moorhead added to her season totals in blocks with 12 more this past weekend. She also averaged two kills per set over the weekend. She posted a near double-double against SPU with nine blocks and nine kills and then added five kills and three sets in the sweep of MSUB.
Dani Dodge averaged 3.86 digs per set and had two aces in the two matches. She tallied 12 and 15 digs against Seattle Pacific and Montana State Billings, respectively.
Nationwide
The Nanooks have a lot of star power showing up in the nations DII statistics totals.
Emily Moorhead finds herself 15
th in the country with 1.31 blocks per set. She also sits at number-six in total blocks with 68 on the season. Just behind her is
Sophie Schilling in eighth with 62.
AveRee Reynolds moved into the top-15 with 56 on the season.
Dani Dodge finds herself in 14
th with 261 digs and
Cate Whiting is the nation's top assists getter with 564, making her number one in the NCAA DII.
Team Category
Alaska is currently seventh as a team in the blocks per set category, collecting 2.60 per set. They also lead the GNAC and are 40
th in the NCAA DII with an opponent hitting percentage of .130. In team assists, they currently sit at number two in the nation with 677. They're also top-10 at sixth in team digs with 969. With 730 kills they sit at number three. They are also number one in total attacks with 2,181 and are first in team total blocks with 153.5.

The Nanooks found themselves with double the votes from a week earlier. They are up to four votes received in this weeks AVCA Top-25 poll. They join Western Washington (#20), Central Washington (#25), Alaska Anchorage (RV) and Simon Fraser (RV) in the poll.
