Last Time Out
The Alaska Nanooks volleyball team is coming off of a big win against the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Patty Center. The Nanooks earned the win in four sets behind 16 kills from senior
AveRee Reynolds. Alaska won the first two sets before falling in the third. They then battled into the fourth-set before grabbing an exciting 26-24 win.

GNAC Standings
With the win over Alaska Anchorage, the 2-6 spots in the GNAC volleyball standings got even tighter entering the final week of the regular-season. Western Washington University won the GNAC Regular-Season Title, as they hold a 20-4, 16-1 GNAC record. Currently in second place is Central Washington at 15-7, 11-5. Simon Fraser finds themselves in third place at 17-7, 11-6 and just behind is Seattle Pacific, Alaska Anchorage and the Nanooks. SPU and UAA are tied in the GNAC standings at 10-6 in conference play. Alaska trails only by one game at 9-7.
Stats
AveRee Reynolds averages a team-high 2.66 kills per set while also averaging 0.91 blocks per set.
Lahra Weber is averaging 2.25 kills per set.
Rilee White is close behind averaging 2.09 kills per set. Senior MB
Emily Moorhead posted six blocks this past weekend, moving her into fourth in the GNAC and 19
th in Division II with 1.20 blocks per set. She ranks 19
th in Division II with 119 total blocks. Alaska as a team is averaging 12.62 kills and 15.90 digs per set. They are third in the GNAC with 1.75 aces per set and also rank third in the GNAC and 12
th in DII with 2.48 blocks per set.
Senior Night
The Alaska Nanooks volleyball team will celebrate seven academic-seniors on Saturday, Nov. 20 against Western Oregon.

Scouting the Opponents
Saint Martin's
The Saints come to Fairbanks on Thursday, Nov. 18 looking to snap a five-game slide. They dropped their last two against Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene, both in three sets.
Tia Allen and Emily Gooding have played a big part of the Saints offensive attack as Allen leads the team with 275 kills and Gooding trails with 252. Analise Hitchcock has been the main setter in the Saints offense, collecting 662 assists through 92 sets played. On defense, the Saints are led by Kylie Alos. She has 402 digs this season and has averaged 4.37 digs per set through 92 sets played. At the net, SMU is led by Jennifer Soha. She leads the way with 57.0 total blocks and is tied with Maddy Gooding at the top with an average of 0.90 blocks per set.
Western Oregon
Western Oregon is looking to build off of their last weekend. They knocked-off Northwest Nazarene in four before taking Central Washington all the way to five before falling.
Isabel Hurliman has been the main attack for WOU. Through 87 sets, she has collected 257 kills for an average of 2.95 kills per set. The Wolves have a two-person attack when it comes to distributing the ball. Aubrey Stanton leads the way with 440 assists on the season, but close behind is Laney O'Neil with 292 of her own. On the defensive side of the ball, WOU has two wolves over 200 digs. Sophie Matlock leads the way with 365 and an average of 4.20 per set and Isabel Hurliman has 246 for an average of 2.83 per set. Bella MacLellan is the big name at the net for WOU. She is the lone Wolves player over 50 blocks, recording 68.0 on the season.
