Last of 2021
These two matches will be the final matches of the 2021 calendar year for the Alaska Nanooks. They'll shoot a neutral-site match against NC State before seeing the host-team, the United State Naval Academy on Nov. 14.

One is the Loneliest Number
Alaska, for the fourth-straight week, stand alone at the top of the CRCA Rankings. This week, behind Alaska is West Virginia in the #2 spot and TCU in the #3 spot. Rounding out the top-five is Ole Miss at #4 and Murray State at #5.

Looking Ahead
Outside of the PRC Championships at the Air Force Academy in February, the Nanooks will shoot in only Fairbanks during the second half of their season. They'll return to action on Jan. 15-16 with Ole Miss coming to town. After the Rebels, Alaska will host Air Force, Nebraska and UTEP for their NCAA Qualifier.

Anti vs. Anti
Nanook head coach, Will Anti, will face-off with his dad, Mike Anti, for the first time in each of their careers. Mike Anti, the head coach of the Naval Academy, was named the head coach of Navy on May 23, 2017 after eight seasons as an assistant at the Air Force Academy. Will Anti, a 2019-grad of West Virginia, followed in his dads' footsteps, as Mike Anti was a 1987 WVU graduate. Will Anti was named the Nanooks head coach on August 8, 2020.
