Last Time Out
The Nanooks Nordic ski teams are coming off of the Colorado Invite in which the men's team grabbed a fourth place finish and the women's team finished in fifth place. The 'Nooks on the final day of the Invite were led by
Mike Ophoff, who finished in 11th place and
Mariel Pulles in the women's race, who finished eighth overall.
The Racers this Week
The team this weekend will consist of
Mike Ophoff,
Logan Mowry, Tristan Sayre,
Christopher Kalev,
Lukash Platil and
Patrick Marbacher on the men's side. On the women's side, the Nanooks are sending out
Mariel Pulles,
Anja Maijala, Hannah Deuling,
Catherine Reed-Metayer,
Sarah Olson and Rya Berrigan.
Race Schedule
The Nanooks men's ski team will compete in a 10km classic individual race while the women will run a 5km classic individual race on Saturday, Jan. 25. On Sunday, Jan. 26, the Nanooks will both run using pursuit rules. Pursuit rules have you start based on your finish from the prior race, and both genders will race in a 10km skate.
