FAIRBANKS, Alaska – With the weather warming up and the snow rapidly melting, the Alaska Nanooks men's and women's cross country running teams are ready to host the fifth annual Beach Bum 5km Run on Saturday, April 20. The run is open to runners and walkers of all ages with all the proceeds benefitting the Alaska Nanooks men's and women's cross country running teams.

It's a beach party, so be sure to dress accordingly!

The Beach Bum Run will start at 11am in the Patty Center Parking Lot off of Tanana Drive and will feature a 5km loop on dirt and paved roads around the UAF campus.

Pre-race registration is open online now here >> http://bit.ly/2VCnkFA. Day-of registration will also be available in the Patty Parking Lot beginning at 9:30am on April 20. The entry fee for the fifth annual Beach Bum 5km Run is $20.
