Last Time Out
The Alaska Nanooks are coming off of a road-trip to Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene. The 'Nooks came home with a split on that road-trip, splitting the season-series with both of those teams as well. CWU took the final matchup with Alaska this season in five-sets on Halloween night and Alaska took down NNU in straight-sets, getting them back for a tough five-set loss that handed the Nanooks their first GNAC loss back in early-October.

Cavaliers
The Nanooks will face a good Concordia team on Thursday, Nov. 7. Alaska fell to the Cavs in five-sets when they last met in mid-October. In that game,
Kim Wong and
AveRee Reynolds led the way for the 'Nooks with 18 and 15 kills. It was, statistically, as close of a game as it could be with both teams tallying 57 kills, errors were separated by one with Concordia having 30 and Alaska having 31, aces were 6-7 in favor of the Cavaliers and Digs were 92-98, Concordia. The Nanooks will look for some home-court advantage to get this win and split the season-series.
Wolves
Alaska is on the hunt to complete the season-sweep of Western Oregon on Saturday, Nov. 9. The Nanooks went into Monmouth on Oct. 10 and defeated the Wolves in four-sets.
Lahra Weber was the leader of the attack in that game, totaling 15 kills while Reynolds added 13 behind her. The 'Nooks will look to claim a lot of the offensive categories again after winning the digs, blocks, aces, kills and assists categories.
Killing the Game
AveRee Reynolds,
Lahra Weber and
Kim Wong all have over 180 kills on the season, leading the Nanooks in the category. Weber checks in with the team-lead of 188 accompanied by a 2.51 kill per set average and a .141 swing percentage. Just behind her is Wong who checks in with 186 on the season. Kim is swinging the best out of the three with a .310 swing percentage and is averaging 2.66 kills per set. Reynolds comes in with 180 kills, a .204 swing percentage and averaging 2.40 kills per set. These three have been a big help for setter,
Cate Whiting, who has 703 assists on the season with 78% of her assists going to one of these three.
