FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks rifle team is back in action this upcoming weekend as they take to the road to face off with the UTEP Miners before heading to Colorado and facing the Air Force.

Last Time Out
The Nanooks have not competed in over a month, last shooting at home for senior day against the defending National Champions from Texas Christian University. TCU grabbed the win at the E.F. Horton Rifle Range, 4663-4703, despite career-days from
Grace Nelson and
Morgan Erickson.
Itinerary
The Nanooks will start Nov. 22 off in El Paso, Texas taking on UTEP. Shooting will begin around 5:00 a.m. AKT with the first relay of smallbore starting the day off. After the first round of smallbore there will be a short break as the shooters prep for air rifle. After air rifle, another break will ensue before relay two of both smallbore and air rifle finish off the day.
After a trip to Colo. on Saturday, Nov. 23, the Nanooks and Air Force will compete on Nov. 24. The early start-time of 6:00 a.m. AKT will kick-off the day. After the practice shots are fired, the shooters will break into relay one of smallbore. Following a break, air rifle will shoot. One last break will then start the final relay of the long-weekend as smallbore and air rifle will finish off the day.
