Last Time Out
The Nanooks took on Northwest Nazarene and Central Washington a week ago on Oct. 3 and Oct. 5. Alaska was unable to remain undefeated in GNAC play, however, following their loss to NNU on Oct. 3, they returned and had a statement victory on Oct. 5 over the Wildcats of Central Washington. Both of these matches went five sets, with the Nighthawks taking the first and the 'Nooks claiming the second. This home-split left the Nanooks at 8-6 overall and 5-1 in GNAC play.

Where to Watch

Chasing Zero's
The Nanooks are off to their greatest conference start in program history. At 5-1, Alaska finds themselves tied with Anchorage for the second best conference record. Both Alaska schools trail only one team, Western Washington University. WWU is one of the top teams in the nation and currently sits with a 14-0 overall record and 6-0 GNAC record.

Five in a Row
Transfer-Jr., OH, AveRee Reynolds finds herself with an amazing streak of five consecutive games with double-digit kills. Spanning back to the Seattle Pacific match on Sept. 21, Reynolds has been an absolute terror to opposing defenses. In this five-game span, Reynolds has averaged 12 kills per game. The junior will look continue her hot hitting this weekend in Oregon.

Scouting the Opponents
Concordia has caught fire since beginning the season 0-5. After that they won six of their next eight games to string together an impressive start to GNAC play. They are coming off of a sweep of Saint Martin's that followed a four-set victory over Seattle Pacific.
As for Western Oregon, the Wolves find themselves at the bottom of the GNAC, just above Saint Martin's thanks to their single GNAC victory over SMU. The Wolves split their last weekend of games, defeating the Saints and falling to Seattle Pacific in straight sets.
