FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks hockey team may be on the road this weekend, but fans can still cheer on the Nooks in Fairbanks at the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup Watch Party, courtesy of the Alaska Nanook Hockey Alumni Chapter and the Face-Off Club.

The #AKGovCup Watch Party will be for Saturday's game only, as the Nooks take on the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association matchup in Anchorage. The Watch Party will take place at Big Daddy's BBQ, located at 107 Wickersham Street in downtown Fairbanks. Puck-drop for #AKGovCup is set for 5:07pm AKT, so be sure to show up early for a seat!

Big Daddy's will be offering two specials in support of the Nanooks: a wing plate appetizer and the "horseshoe" platter, which includes brisket or pulled pork and cheese fries. Nook will be on hand to take pictures with fans (Blue and Gold colors only!) and there will also be a chance to win a $50 Big Daddy's gift card.

The Face-Off Club will also be holding a 50/50 raffle that will begin at puck-drop and conclude at the end of the game.
