Last Time Out
The Alaska Nanooks are on a current three-game slide, falling to both Western Washington University on Oct. 17 in three sets, and again on Oct. 19 to Simon Fraser in a five-set match that took over two and a half hours to complete.

Where to Watch
For the fans who are unable to make it to the volleyball games in Anchorage and Billings this weekend, live stats and video will be available in the links above through the Stretch Internet Portal. Game day posts will also provide a link on the day of games. The games will be available in the Alaska Stretch Internet Portal but will be produced by Anchorage and Billings.

Down Goes WWU
Alaska Anchorage did the unthinkable last weekend against the then-#2 team in the country, Western Washington, defeating the Vikings in four-sets; 25-19, 19-25, 25-20, 26-24. This handed WWU their first loss of the season and improved UAA to 13-5, 8-2 GNAC.

The Seawolves remain in second place behind the Vikings, but this gives UAA a lot of momentum as they closed out the first-half of GNAC play winning six of their last seven matches.

Rematch Time in Billings
After Alaska defeated the Yellow Jackets in five-sets on Sept. 26, the MSUB volleyball team has gone 2-5 in GNAC play. They have, however, won two of their last three, defeating Northwest Nazarene in five-sets on Oct. 12 and sweeping Saint Martin's on Oct. 17.

Second Half of the Season
The Nanooks start the second half of the season with four straight road games, visiting Anchorage, Billings, Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene before returning home to face off with the Oregon schools. The 'Nooks will hit the road one last time on Nov. 14/16 before returning home for Senior Weekend. They will end the regular season on Nov. 21/23 against Seattle Pacific and Saint Martin's.
