FAIRBANKS, Alaska –The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team fell in Great Northwest Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 68-59 decision to the Central Washington Wildcats at the Alaska Airlines Court. The Nooks drop to 4-11 on the season and 1-7 in GNAC play, while the Wildcats improve to 9-7 overall and 3-5 in conference matchups.
The Nanooks shot 39.6 percent from the floor (19-for-48), 27.8 percent from the beyond the arc (5-for-18) and 80 percent from the free throw line (16-for-20). Alaska registered eight offensive and 25 defensive rebounds, totaling 33 boards on the day. The Nooks also produced six assists, five blocks and four steals.
Alaska was led by junior guard
Tymoryae Glover, who registered his first double-double as a Nanook with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Glover shot 5-for-11 from the floor, 1-for-2 from outside, and 8-for-10 from the free throw line. The Pasadena, California native also chipped in two offensive and eight defensive rebounds and a game-high four blocks in 34 minutes on the court.
Junior guard
Spencer Sweet was the only other Alaska player to tally double-digit points on Saturday, shooting 5-for-8 from the field, 3-for-5 from beyond the arc and 2-for-2 from the free throw line for 15 points.

Isaiah Easaw collected a team-best two steals.
The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team will hit the road for a pair of GNAC contests next week, taking on the Western Washington Vikings in Bellingham, Washington on Thursday, Jan. 24 before heading to Burnaby, British Columbia to face the Simon Fraser Clan on Saturday, Jan. 26. Both games are set for a 6:30pm AKST tip-off.
