SEATTLE – The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team suffered a Great Northwest Athletic Conference loss on Saturday night, as the Nooks dropped a 87-60 decision to the Seattle Pacific University Falcons at the Royal Brougham Pavilion in Seattle. Alaska's overall record drops to 9-11 and 7-7 in conference play, while the Falcons improve to 13-8 on the season and 8-6 in league games.

- Junior guard Alex Baham led his teammates in scoring on Saturday, shooting 6-for10 from the floor, 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and 2-for-2 from the free throw line to register 19 points.
- The Wasilla, Alaska native also chipped in two offensive rebounds and one steal in a team-high 31 minutes on the court.
- Junior guard Davis Kimble was the only other Alaska player to score double-digit figures against the Falcons, posting 12 points.
- Kimble shot 4-for-10 from the floor, 1-for-4 from three-point range and 3-for-4 from the charity line, while also adding two rebounds and a team-best four assists.
- As a team, Alaska shot 38.9 percent from the floor (21-for-54), 26.9 percent from beyond the arc (7-for-26) and 73.3 percent from the free throw line (11-for-15).
- Alaska also tallied nine offensive and 16 defensive boards for a total of 25 rebounds, nine steals and six assists.
- Seattle Pacific was led by Harry Cavell, who shot 6-for-10 from the floor, 2-for-3 from behind the arc and 6-for-8 from the free throw line to post a game-high 20 points.

The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team will return to their home court this week, as they host a pair of GNAC contests at the Alaska Airlines Court. The Nooks will take on the Central Washington Wildcats on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 7pm AKST before facing the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 3pm AKST.
