FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks volleyball team plays their final two home matches of the season this week with a pair of Great Northwest Athletic Conference opponents. The Nanooks will take on the Saint Martin's Saints on Thursday, Nov. 1 before facing the Seattle Pacific Falcons in their home finale on Saturday, Nov. 3. Both matches will take place at the Alaska Airlines Court and are set for 7pm AKT.

Last Time Out
The Alaska Nanooks volleyball team split on the road last weekend, falling 3-0 to Concordia in Portland, Oregon on Thursday before bouncing back and defeating Western Oregon 3-1 on Saturday in Monmouth, Oregon.

GNAC Standings
The Nanooks currently hold sole possession of fourth place in the GNAC standings with a 9-7 record. Western Washington remains undefeated in conference play with a 16-0 mark, while Central Washington (13-4) and Alaska Anchorage (12-4) rank second and third, respectively. Thursday's opponent Saint Martin's ranks 11th in the GNAC with a 2-14 conference record, while Seattle Pacific is tied for fifth place with a league record of 8-8.

All-Time Series
The Alaska Nanooks trail the all-time series record against Seattle Pacific 14-38, with the first meeting between the two teams coming as a 3-2 loss for the Nooks on the road on Oct. 1, 1991. The Nanooks defeated the Falcons 3-2 on the road in their last meeting on Oct. 4.

All-time against Saint Martin's, Alaska is 27-10 overall. The first meeting between the Saints and the Nanooks resulted in a 0-3 loss for Alaska on neutral turf on Oct. 9, 1998. The Nanooks swept Saint Martin's on the road in their last meeting 3-0 on Oct. 6.
