All-Time Series

Western Washington: The Vikings own a 35-4 advantage in the all-time series. WWU has won 23-straight in the series. Alaska's last win over Western Washington came on Feb. 21, 2004, when they knocked off the Vikings, 75-71, in Fairbanks.

Simon Fraser: Alaska will seek its first-ever win against the Clan this weekend, as they are currently 0-14 against SFU all-time.

Record Setting Weekend?
Alaska has already secured a winning season at home for the first time since the 2003-04 season, but they'll look to match the best home record for the Nooks since joining the GNAC back in 2001. A sweep of SFU and WWU would give the Nanooks their first 10-win season at home since the2001-02 season.

The Nook will also look for the most conference wins in over a decade this weekend. If Alaska picks up a victory in both games, that will give them eight GNAC victories, which would be the most for a Nanooks women's basketball team since 2004-05 when they went 9-9.

GNAC Scoring Champion?
Junior Jordan Wilson enters the final two games of the regular season leading the GNAC in scoring with her 16.9 points per game average. She is 0.3 points ahead of four players who are tied for second at 16.6 points. If Wilson ends this week atop the GNAC scoring list, she would become the third player in program history to hold GNAC Scoring Champion honors.

She would become the Alaska player to lead the GNAC in scoring since head coach Cody Bench led the league in points per game with 20.4 points per game back during the 2004-05 season. Bench, then Burgess, led the GNAC in scoring in twice, she also finished first in the conference during the 2002-03 season with 18.3 points per game. Adrinenne Taalak is the only other player to be the GNAC Scoring Champion, as she averaged 19.7 points per game during the 2003-04 campaign.

Starting a New Streak
Junior Jordan Wilson has started a new double-digit scoring streak after having her 23-game streak snapped against Northwest Nazarene back on Feb. 13. Since then, Wilson has posted 13 points and 18 points in a pair of game against Seattle Pacific and Saint Martin's last week. The forward has scored double figures in all but two game seasons.

Finishing Strong
This week marks the final set of games for senior Arinesha Smith, but she will be entering the week on one of the hottest scoring streaks in her career. The SeaTac, Washington native has posted double-digits in the scoring in each of the past three games, which is a season long streak for Smith. She opened the trend in Alaska's last home game with 14 points against Northwest Nazarene. She followed that up with a 12-point and 10-point effort at Seattle Pacific and Saint Martin's last week.
