Reese and Hadzisehovic's Effort not Enough for Nanooks Against SPU

SEATTLE, Wash. – Despite a combined 34 points by the duo of Anthony Reese and Almir Hadzisehovic, the Nanook men fell to Great Northwest Athletic Conference foes, the Seattle Pacific Falcons, by a score of 76-64 on Saturday afternoon.

Reese had 18 points to lead all scorers, as he shot 57.1% (8-14) from the field, had four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Hadzisehovic recorded 16 points, higher than any Seattle Pacific player and led the Nanooks with six rebounds.

Seattle Pacific was led by Will Parker who scored 15 points off the bench.

Alaska (5-10, 2-5 GNAC) trailed throughout the game, holding a lead against the No. 4 regionally ranked Falcons (14-4, 6-2 GNAC) for just 1:28 and went into the half with a 43-31 deficit.
