FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The No. 4 Alaska Nanooks rifle team host the No. 2 Texas Christian Horned Frogs this Saturday (Jan. 19) and Monday (Jan. 21) for a pair of NCAA matches at the E.F. Horton Rifle Range.

The Nanooks (3-4) are fresh off a road trip in the Lower 48, where they split a pair of matches by capturing a win against No. 8 Murray State and then shooting their season-high aggregate of 6687 but losing to the No. 3 Kentucky Wildcats.

TCU comes to Fairbanks riding a 19-match winning streak dating back to the start of the 2011-12 season. The Horned Frogs have suffered just two defeats and have a combined four-year record of 43-2, which includes the 2010 NCAA Championship Title.

Saturday's match will consist of two smallbore relays and two air rifle relays, alternating throughout the day. The action opens with the first smallbore relay at 9 a.m. followed by the first air gun relay at 11:45 a.m.

After a short break in the action the shooters will take the line for the second air rifle relay at 2 p.m., followed by the second small bore relay at 4:30 p.m. Fans can follow along through each relay via the live electronic targets available at the link above.
