FAIRBANKS, Alaska – Alaska will wrap up the 2011-12 women's basketball season on Saturday night when it travels South to take on in-state rival and eighth-ranked Alaska Anchorage at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Nanooks bring in a 6-21 overall record with a 2-15 mark in the GNAC, while the Seawolves are 24-4 on the year and 15-2 in the GNAC. UAA has already wrapped up the regular-season title and will be the top seed at next weekend's GNAC Championship.

Last week, the Nanooks dropped a 90-81 decision at Western Oregon, before falling 66-58 at Saint Martin's in their final two-game road trip of the season.
On Feb. 16 at WOU,
Nicole Bozek led the team with 25 points and seven rebounds. She went 15 of 16 from the free throw line, which set new career highs for both made free throws and attempts.
Nicole Hartzog had 19 points and a career-high seven rebounds, while
Autumn Greene contributed 16 points and six steals. Two nights later at SMU, Hartzog, Bozek and Greene each tallied 11 points, while
Taylor Altenburg had 10 points.
In the GNAC rankings, Bozek is the league's third-leading scorer (16.3 ppg), while ranking third in free throw percentage (.842), sixth in blocks (0.8 bpg) and seventh in rebounding (7.7 rpg).
Hartzog is the top-scoring freshman in the conference with 11.3 points per game as well as ranking second in the entire league in steals (2.6 spg) and fifth in free throw percentage (.816).
Altenburg ranks eighth in free throw percentage (.798) and
Kelly Logue is seventh in steals (1.8 spg) while Greene is 10th in the same category (1.6 spg).
As a team, Alaska is third in free throw percentage (.754) as it has tallied the most points in the league from the line with 519 made, which is 145 ahead of the next team (UAA). It also grabs 10.5 steals per game, which also ranks third.
