To all the accolades
Parrish West has earned this season as the standout of the Alaska men's basketball team, add 2011 Daktronics West Region Men's Basketball All-Star first team selection.
West was one of three Great Northwest Athletic Conference players selected to the first team. He led the conference and the entire NCAA Division II with 27.2 points per game.
The West Region team was voted on by region sports information directors at schools that sponsor men's basketball.
With this selection, West's name is automatically added to the Daktronics All-American national ballot. The team will be announced March 22.
