Alaska Doubled Up at MSUB, 90-45

Box Score The Alaska women’s basketball team (0-10, 03 GNAC) was doubled up in a 90-45 conference loss at Montana State Billings (6-6, 2-2) Monday. The loss extends the Nanooks current losing streak to 16 games, dating back to February of last year. Alaska got 10 points and six rebounds from Jessica Harrison—both team highs. They also got nine points from Whitney Anderson and Nicole Bozek. They were never able to put together a lead and went down by as much as 24 points in the first half. The Yellow Jackets made the game uglier at the end of the second half by going on a 23-8 tear. Montana State got 22 of its points at the free throw line and 46 off the bench. They out-rebounded the Nanooks 46-32 over the course of the game. Alaska heads home to take on Central Washington Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
