Box Score The Alaska women's basketball team had three players score in double digits , but it wasn't enough to overcome No. 10 Western Washington Thursday night. The Nanooks succumbed to a 76-50 loss—their fourth in a row.
Nicole Bozek led the team with 18 points, including a 6-for-12 ratio from the field. She snapped a three game streak of double-doubles with just six boards on the night.
Autumn Green reached 12 points for the Nanooks, while
Jessica Harrison finished with 10.
As has been the case in several games this season, Alaska played strong in the early goings, leading Western Washington by a point as late as 11:24 in the first half.
Western Washington used a 13-2 run to take a their first 10-point lead by 9:13. The Nanooks headed to halftime down 36-24.
The game got away from Alaska in the second half, where they trailed by 30 points four separate times.
Alaska (1-14, 1-7 GNAC) hosts Simon Fraser Saturday at 5:15 p.m. at the Patty Center.
