Biography

2010-11: Underwood helped out the Nanooks this year in the sprint freestyle events; in November at the dual-meet series against Grand Canyon University Underwood swam a season best in the 100 Freestyle with a 1:10.68 on Friday night, then bettered her time Saturday with a 1:08.21; she swam a season best in the 50 Freestyle at the Husky Invitational in December with a time of 30.53.

Prior to Alaska: Member of the West Valley HS Swim Team for four years; awarded Most Inspirational in 2009; member of girls Region Championship Team in 2008 and 2009; eight year member of Midnight Sun Swim Team.

Personal: Daughter of Terry and Betsy Underwood; currently majoring in Psychology.
