Biography

2010-11: This was Hampel's first and only year competing for the Nanooks, helping out in the sprint freestyle events; in February at the PCSC Championships, she swam a season best in the 100 Freestyle with a 1:00.40 and a personal best in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 27.79.

Prior to Alaska: Lettered all four years in swimming at Tualatin High School; member of Tigard-Tualitin Swim Club for eight years.

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Rosalyn Hampel; Hampel received a Bachelor's degree in English from Oregon State University and is currenly seeking double minors in Psychology and Spanish.
