Ksenia Gromova

Ksenia Gromova is entering her second season as the Nanooks head coach in 2023-24.

In her first season, the Nanooks went 2-4, 2-4 PCSC. After falling in the first three dual-meets, the Nanooks went and took 10th-place at the 2022 La Verne Invite in Los Angeles, Calif. Fresh off of the new year, the Nanooks swept Westmont College 118-87 and 113-92 for Gromova's first wins as the head coach of the Nanooks. 

The 'Nooks ended the season at the Pacific Coast Swimming and Diving Conference Championships and took ninth with 439 points. 

Gromova joined the Nanooks after spending the 2021-22 season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach with the University of Michigan men's and women's swim and dive teams. While at UM she assisted with sprint group practices, technique analysis sessions, designed and implemented group mobility sessions as well as assisting with the recruiting processes and administrative work. Prior to Michigan, Gromova served as the Assistant Swim Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Duquesne University. She worked on team management compiled with NCAA regulations, implemented dryland, mobility and stretching practices and worked with community's social events. 

From August 2017 to June 2019, Gromova was the Head Coach of the men's and women's swim teams at Lindenwood University Belleville. As the head coach she coached four NAIA National Champions, 29 All-Americans, 27 conference champions and had 23 school records broken. 

She also spent time at as the Swim Club Nitro High School Group Head Coach, spent two seasons as a Graduate Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Incarnate Word, the Associate Head Coach at the Olympic Reserve School 7 in Yaroslavl, Russia. 

Gromova earned her Master of Art in Administration with a concentration in Sports Management from the University of Incarnate Word in May 2017. Prior to that, she earned her B.S. in Chemistry and B.A. in Biology alongside a B.A. in Russian Language from Ouachita University in May 2013. Her first degree came from Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University in June 2008 where she earned a B.S. in Sports Science.
