Cross Country

2011: Began the season with a seventh place finish in the 6K with a time of 23:42.3 and 15:22.6 to finish the 4K in fourth place at the Alaska Nanooks Cross Country Invitational...Led the Nanooks in the GNAC Pre Regional with a 17th place in the 6K...In Hawaii at the UHH Invitational she placed third in the 5K with a time of 18:35 to help lead the Nanooks to a first place win...At the GNAC Championships, Schnurr paced the Nanooks in the 6K with a time of 22:44 to finish sixth....At the NCAA West Regional Championships she placed 11th in the 6K with a time of 21:55...Finished off the season racing at the NCAA Championships where she finished 81st in the 6K with a time of 23:36.8 to help the Nanooks finish 17th overall...Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference team...Garned USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors.

2010: Schnurr started off her junior season with a pair of 4th place finishes at the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational with a 23:17.5 in the 6K and a 15:42.0 in the 4K; she finished 3rd in the 5K at the Chamindade Invitational in Hawaii with a time of 19:16.40; was a member of the GNAC Championship team, receiving her highest collegiate finish of 12th place in the 6K with a time of 22:57.12; Schnurr was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team for the third year in a row; was recognized as MVP with her fellow GNAC teammates at the conclusion of the season; a 2011 Capital One Academic All-District women's track & field/cross country Second Team selection.

2009: Starting her sophomore season with a pair of 1st place finishes in the 3K and 5K against Central Washington University, Schnurr continued her winning streak at the Hawaii Pacific University Invitational 5K with a time of 17:58; was a member of the GNAC Championship team, finishing the 6K in a time of 22:33 landing her a 17th place finish; finished 23rd at the NCAA West Regional Championship 6K in a time of 22:10; named to the GNAC All-Academic Team.

2008: As a freshman, Schnurr claimed a pair of 1st place finishes against Humboldt State in the 4K and the 6K; named GNAC Runner of the Week the end of August; finshed 4th place at the Apple Ridge Run in the 6K with a time of 24:05; was a member of the GNAC Championship team, finishing first for the Nanooks with a time of 23:16.27 in the 6K, good for 13th overall; named to the GNAC All-Academic Team.

Nordic Skiing

2011-12: Redshirted this season

2010-11: Schurr returned to the Nanooks for a strong junior season; she helped the Nanooks claim their fifth straight Nordic Cup with her 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places over the course of the three day competition; at the US National Championships she finishd 14th in the 10K Classic with a time of 34:44.0, 27th in the 20K Freestyle in a time of 55:56.1, and 31st in the 1.4K Freestyle Sprint with a time of 3:25.46; she topped the scoreboard at the CSSA Hilltop Invitational and finished the Mayor's Challenge with a pair of 6th places; at the NCAA Central Region Championships Schnurr came away with a pair of 4th places, finishing the 5K Freestyle in a time of 15:05.7 and the 10K Classic in a time of 33:55.5; she earned All-CCSA First Team Honors and was named to the USCSCA All-Academic Team; her season landed her a trip to the NCAA Skiing National Championships where she finished 28th in the 5K Freestyle in a time of 25:26.7 behind teammate Sieber, but finished first for the Nanooks in the 15K Classic with a 31st place and a time of 59:01.9; recognized for academic honors by the Athletic Department; named the Dr. Wood Scholar Athlete of the Year for Women's Skiing.

2009-10: Second Team All-CCSA; finished 6th place during the individual day of the Nordic Cup Competition; helped her team place 1st in the Nordic Cup Relay; took 14th in the Mayor's Challenge 5K Freestyle; finished 21st in the 10K Classic during the Mayor's Challenge; placed 6th in both 5K Freestyle and 15K Classic at the CCSA Championships.

2008-09: First Team All-CCSA; fnished 2nd in the 5K Classic at CCSA Regionals and 7th in the 15K Freestyle; helped fuel a comeback win in the Alaska Nordic Cup over Alaska Anchorage as she raced to a 2nd place finish on the final day of the competition; qualified for nationals; named the team's Most Valuable Skier at the conclusion of the season.

Prior to Alaska: Skied three seasons for SV Baiersbronn in native Germany; landed top-30 finishes in sprint events at the last three German national championships, including a 28th place finish in the freestyle sprints at last year's event and 24th place finishes in 2005 and 2006; ran three years of cross country for SV Baiersbronn, recording career-best time of 11:01 for 3,000 meter run.

Personal: Daughter of Willi and Christiane Schnurr; sister Magdalena participates in ski-jumping in Germany; currently majoring in Applied Physics.
