Followed that up with an eighth-place finish at the Blue & Gold 6k on Sept. 14, posting a time of 23:59.0 ... Completed the WWU Bill Roe Classic in 22:41.7, placing 46th in the race ... Took 70th at the Lewis Crossover on Oct. 12, improving on her time with a 22:39.9 at the invite ... Posted two top-25 finishes at the GNAC Cross Country Championships and the NCAA Division II West Region Championships, finishing in 22nd and 25th, respectively, with times of 22:34.0 and 21:50.2 ... Ended the season by taking 132nd at the NCAA DII National Championships on Nov. 23, crossing the line with a 22:26.8

Williams participated in fives races for the Nanooks in her freshman season ... She opened the season with a season-high in the 5k at the Seawolf Throwdown, finishing in 19:46.3 … Williams’s time was good for seventh, her first collegiate top-10 finish …  In her second race, Williams just missed out on the podium, finishing in fourth, completing the 6k at the Nanook Frontier Clash in 24:10.0 … Raced and finished in the WWU Bill Roe Classic, 2023 GNAC Cross Country Championships and the NCAA Division II West Region Cross Country Championships … Williams’s finished in the top 60 twice, in the WWU Bill Roe Classic and in the GNAC Cross Country Championship, finishing in 44th and 55th  … Williams’s set her season-high mark in the 6k at Western Washington in the WWU Bill Roe Classic, completing the 6k in 23:35.9 on Sept. 23, 2023
