Cross Country Running

2011: At the Alaska Nanooks Cross Country Invitational, Thompson finished 20th in the 6K with a time of 29:29 and finished 21st in the 4K with a time of 19:26.2...Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team.

2010: Thompson started out her collegiate running career with a 22nd place finish in the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational with a time of 29:26.3 in the 6K; at the Western Washington University Cross Country Classic, Thompson had a season-best time with a 28:57.2 in the 6K, good for 110th place; she finished out her freshman season a member of the NCAA West Regional Championship team, where she ran a 29:10.1 in the 6K; named to the Chancellor's List for Academics; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

Prior to Alaska: Competed in cross country running and track for two years at West Valley HS.

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Lorraine Thompson; currently majoring in Music Education with a minor in Business.
