2013 as a Junior: Did not run.

2012 as a Sophomore: Started the season at the GNAC Championship 6K with a 23:31.6...Ranked 2nd among the Alaska women 6K at the NCAA West Regional Tournament.

2011 as a Freshmen: Began the season finishing 12th in the 6K with a time of 25:02.7 and finished 9th in the 4K with a time of 16:07.6 during the Alaska Nanooks Cross Country Invitational in September...At the GNAC Pre-Regional finished 66th in the 6K with a time of 23:32.37...At the GNAC Championships finished 60th overall with a time of 25:29 in the 6K...Was a member of the NCAA West Region Championship team where she ran the 6K in a time of 24:28...Finished the season at the NCAA Championships helping the Nanooks finish 17th overall running the 6K in 25:32.

Prior to Alaska: 4-year member of both cross country running and cross country skiing teams at Chugiak High School...For running, McPhetres was named Most Inspirational in 2010 and Most Valuable in 2008...Earned the Sportsmanship Award in 2010 for skiing...Placed 7th in the 7.5K Freestyle and 3rd in teh 5K Freestyle at the Cross Country Skiing Regions...Was a 6-year member of the Alaska Nordic Racing club.

Personal: Daughter of David and Tina McPhetres...Joining sister Alyson as a Nanook...Plans to major in Wildlife Biology and minor in Agriculture.
