Appeared in 13 races for the Nanooks in his graduate season … Opening the season at the Westminster Invitational he raced in the 10K Classic and Freestyle Sprints, placing in eighth and 15th. In the 10K, he finished with a time of 24:36.5 … Following Westminister, he competed in the RMISA Nordic Qualifier, racing in the Classic Sprints finishing 17th … In the Utah Invitational, he captured two top-20 finishes in the 7.5k Freestyle and the 10k Classic. Completing the 7.5k in 20th in a time of 20:10.3, his best 7.5k finish of the season. He finished 16th in the 10k with a time of 46:46.7 … In the Colorado Invitational, he completed the 7.5k Freestyle and 20k classic, finishing in 13th in both races. In the 7.5k, he completed the race in 20:52.3 and 1:01:56.6 in the 20k … Staying in Colorado, he competed in the Denver Invitational racing in the 10k Classic and the Men’s 5k Freestyle finishing in 10th and 15th … In the RMISA Championships he raced in 7.5k finishing in 25th with a time of 20:58.9. He also raced in the 20k Classical, taking third place with a time of 56:06.3 … To finish the season, he competed in two races at the NCAA Championships, the 7.5k Freestyle and 20k Classic. In the 7.5k, he took 32nd place with a time of 21:37.3. In the 20k, he took 12th with a time of 57:06.0.
2022-23 | Senior
Appeared in 14 races for the Nanooks in his senior season … Opening the season at the RMISA Nordic Qualifiers Ophoff raced in the 10k Freestyle and the Classic Sprints … Ophoff took second place in the 10k Freestyle with a time of 25:12.4, he also finished in ninth in the Classic Sprints … He followed his podium finish with an additional podium finish at the Montana State Invitational, winning the 15k Classic with a time of 41:17.2. He just missed out on two podium finishes at the Montana State Invitational taking fourth in the 10k Freestyle with a time of 28:32.4 … His next appearance was at the Colorado Invitational, racing in both the 20k Classic and the 10k Freestyle. In the 20k, he finished in ninth place with a time of 1:02:30.5. In the 10k Freestyle, he took 12th place with a time of 27:43.7 … Staying in Colorado, Ophoff competed at the Denver Invitational racing in the 5k Freestyle and the 10k Classic, finishing in 15th and 12th respectively with times of 15:26.9 and 33:04.9 … In the Alaska Anchorage Invitational, he raced in the Freestyle Sprints and the 10k Classic finishing in 13th and fifth … In his second to last event of the season he raced in the 10k Freestyle and the 20k Classic, finishing in third and second with times of 26:05.2 and 58:32.4 … In the last races of the season at the NCAA Championships in the 10k Freestyle and 20k Classic, finished fifth and seventh with season-best times in both the 10k and 20k.
2021-22 | Junior
Appeared in 12 events for the Nanooks in his junior season … His season started at Utah Invitational with a Men’s Freestyle Sprint and a 15k classic … In the freestyle he placed 12th, and in the 15k classic he placed eighth with a time of 42:01.5. … At the RMISA qualifier, he placed seventh … He followed that up with an appearance at the Montana State Invitational, placing 14th with a time of 28:25.7 in the 10k Freestyle, and placed 15th in the 15k Freestyle with a time of 39:18.1 … At the UAF Nanook Invitational he placed 10th in the Men’s 5k Classic with a time of 13:52, his best 5k time of the season … He also raced in the 10k Freestyle at the UAF Nanook Invitational, finishing in 11th, with a time of 41:06.1 … At the RMISA Invitational he raced in the 10k Freestyle placing 20th with a time of 28:28.4 … At the RMISA Championships he raced in the 10k Classic and the 20k Freestyle, he finished in 12th-place in both, finishing with times of 29:22.9 and 54:11.8 respectively … Ophoff finished his campaign at the NCAA Championships racing in the 10k Classic and 20k Freestyle, finishing in fifth and 18th respectively … His 10k time of 24:25.6 was his best of the season, additionally, he set a season-high in the 20k with a time of 44:18.2.
2020-21 | Sophomore
Appeared in eight events for the Nanooks in his sophomore season ... His season started at the RMISA Invitational with a 10km freestyle and 20km classic ... In the freestyle he placed 18th with a time of 23:06.7, his best 10km race-time of the season ... In the 20km classical he finished 11th with a time of 55:21.5 ... He also raced at the SoHo RMISA Invitatational in a 10km classic and 15km freestyle ... In the classic he raced to an 11th-place finish with a time of 26:51.2 while in the freestyle he ended in 15th-place with a time of 37:36.9 ... At the RMISA Championships he placed fourth and 16th in a 10km classic and 20km freestyle, resepectively ... In the 10km he raced to a time of 25:43.3 and in the 20km he finished in 53:29.7 ... His season ended at the NCAA Championships with 17th and 12th-place finishes in the 5km classic and 20km freestyle ... In the classic he raced to a time of 27:57.3 and in the 20km he raced to a season-best 49:51.2
2019-20 | Freshman
Appeared in nine events for the Nanooks as a freshman ... In the opening weekend of the season at the Colorado Invitational, Ophoff tallied 99.57 and 113.49 points in the 10km skate adn 20km classic mass start, respectively ... On Jan. 25, he picked up 163.59 points for the 'Nooks in a 10km classic ... Also tallied 128.47 in the 10km skate pursuit at the Denver Invitational ... Did not participate in RMISA Qualifier ... Scored a 123.1 and 114.49 in a 10km skate and 10km classic mass start at the Utah Invitational on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15 ... At the RMISA Championships, Ophoff scored 98.53 and 143.53 in the 10km skate and 20km classic mass start, respectively ... Qualified for the NCAA Championships and scored a 181.63 on day one, March 12, in the 10km skate before the cancelation of the rest of the Championships.
