Cross Country Skiing

2010-11: Though not competing as a scoring athlete, Ryan raced at the Nordic Cup with the Nanooks; he finished 18th in the 8K Freestyle on the second day with a time of 32:18.7 and 14th in the 8K Classic on the third day with a time of 32:19.1; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.



Cross Country Running

2010: This was Ryan's first season with the Nanooks; at the Alaska Nanooks Cross Country Invitational in September, Ryan finished 20th in the 8K with a time of 29:13.2; was recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.



Prior to Alaska: Three year member and captain of Robert Service HS cross country team; All-State Skiing in 2007 and 2009; Skiing Skate Champions 2006-07; placed 3rd in the 10K at the 2010 Skiing State Championships; earned 2010 Sportsmanship Award; seven year member of Alaska Winter Stars; 2010 and 2008 Skiing All-American at Junior Nationals.

Personal: Son of Steve and Katrina Ryan; currently majoring in Civil Engineering.
