Prior to Alaska: Competed in cross-country skiing and orienteering for 10 years with Tynset IF...Placed third in this season's Chena River Run...Won five county championships and medaled four times in Mid-Norwegian Championships for orienteering...Finished 18th in long distance orienteering in Norwegian championships...Finished eighth in his division in Holmenkollen ski marathon.
