Raced in 12 events for the Nanooks during his sophomore season ... Began his season on Jan. 2 at the U.S. Nationals, where he took 26th-place in the 10k freestyle with a time of 23:31.9 ... Two days later, completed the 20k classic in 57:11.2 to place 24th ... Notched another 24th-place result in the 7.5k classic at the Utah Invite on Jan. 18, posting a time of 22:26.9 in the race ... Followed that with a 17th-place finish in the 15k freestyle the next day, skiing to a time of 36:06.8 ... Competed in the Montana State Invitational on Jan. 24-26, starting with a 19th-place finish in the 20k freestyle after finishing the race in 56:43.1 ... Placed 25th in the 7.5k classic to conclude the invite, recording a time of 21:04.6 ... Finished 13th in the 7.5k classic at the Denver Invitational on Feb. 8 with a 24:06.9 ... In the 10k freestyle pursuit, he posted a 26:59.5 to cross the line in 15th ... Appeared in eight events for the Nanooks during his freshman season ... He opened the season with a 40th-place and 39th-place finish in the Utah Invitational. Completed the 7.5k in 40th at 22:37.3. He finished 39th in the 10k with a time of 54:02.5 … He completed the 7.5k Freestyle and the 20k Classic in the Colorado Invitational, finishing in 21st and 25th. In the 7.5k, he completed the race in 21:38.5, and in the 20k, he completed the race in 1:06:18.5 … At the Denver Invitational, he raced in the 10k Classic and the 5k Freestyle, finishing in 21st and 18th. He finished the 10k with a time of 29:11.7, and completed the 5k in a time of 12:38.8 … His final event as a freshman was the RMISA Championships, he raced in both the 7.5k Freestyle and at the 20k Classical.
