2010: Returned to the Nanooks for his senior season; finished 21st in the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational in September in the 8K with a time of 29.14.7; in October competed for the Nanooks at the Western Washington Cross Country Classic finishing with a 37.52.2 in the 10K; ran a season best in the 10K with a 37:28.6 at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

2008: Finished 11th with a time of 14:01.3 in the meet against Humboldt State in August; on the road in Washington, Apperson finished 37th in the 8K with a time of 29:54; was a member of the GNAC Championship team, finishing 59th overall.

2007: Finished 16th with a 29:59.8 in the tri-meet against BYU and Hawaii Pacific University in August; finished 15th with a 12:33.5 against BYU and Hawaii Pacific University in September; 8th place finish in the Ester Dome 5K race in September with a 26:12, beating his previous year's record of 12th place; placed 29th at the Apple Ridge Run Invitational in September with a 23:35; recorded a time of 35:28.82 in the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships in November.

2006: Placed 12th in the Ester Dome 5K on August 26 with a time of 27:18; earned a 17th place finish on September 23 at the Apple Ridge Run Invitational with a time of 23:51.

Prior to Alaska: Member of Seward High School's varsity cross country running, skiing, and track teams 2004-2006; Co-Athlete of the Year 2006; Scholar Athlete of the Year 2006.

Personal: Son of Rawling and Bonnie Apperson; is an Eagle Scout; currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
