Cross Country Running

2010: Started out his senior season with a 15th place finish at the Alaska Nanooks Cross Country Invitational in September in the 8K with a time of 28:40.5; at the Chaminade Invitational in Hawaii, Priest finished 30th in the 8K with a time of 29:51.38; at the Western Washington University Cross Country Classic in October, Preist ran a career best in the 10K with a 36:36.6 and a 94th place finish; Priest finished the season with his highest finish at the NCAA West Regional Championships, running the 10K in a time of 37:14.8, finishing 108th, twenty places higher than the previous year.

2009: Was a member of the NCAA West Regional Championship Team, running his first ever 10K in a time of 39.59, good for 128th place overall.

2008: Finished eighteenth overall in the 4K wiht a time of 14:42.4 in the meet against Humboldt State in September.



Cross Country Skiing

2010-11: First season skiing for the Nanooks; on the third day of the Nordic Cup, Priest finished 16th in the 8K Classic with a time of 33:43.2; at the CSSA Hilltop Invitational, he finished 17th in the 10K Classic with a time of 33:20.1 and achieved his highest collegiate finish so far with his 7th place finish in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 31:45.1; Priest competed in the Mayor's Challenges races, finishing 20th in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 25:46.0 and 24th in the 15K Freestyle with a time of 42:23.5.

Prior to Alaska: Was a member of the Palmer HS cross country and ski team all four years.

Personal: Son of Jay and Karen Priest; enjoys swimming, skiing, driving, and hockey; currently majoring in Geography.
