2011-12 as a freshman: Three-time All-American at 2012 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships...Part of fourth-place 800 freestyle All-American relay team...Honorable Mention All-American in 200 and 400 freestyle relays...NCAA qualifier in 200 and 400 inidividual medleys, 200 freestyle and 200 and 400 medley relays...All-Conference in 200 IM (fourth) and 400 IM (fourth) at PCSC Championships...Member of 800 free relay squad that turned in program's first-ever NCAA A-cut time...Third in 800 free relay at Husky Invitational, along with four other top-eight finishes...Finished in top-25 in all 10 events entered at Husky...Won 18 events and had four other top-three finishes in dual meets this season...Set Patty Center Pool record in 200 IM this season...Part of all five relay tandems which set varsity records this season...Fall 2011 Academic Walk honoree...Received team's Hammer Award...Recipient of first-ever Great Northwest Athletic Conference Faculty Athletics Representative's Scholar-Athlete award.

Prior to Alaska: Three-sport athlete at L.P. Miller high School and most recently St. Mary High School, where she competed in cross country, volleyball and track and field; also danced for nine years; 7-year member of the Nipawin Lions swim club and 2-year member of the Prince Albert Sharks swim club; two time recepient of the True Grit Award.

Personal: Daughter of Barry and Sharon Lyons; majoring in Biological sciences.
