2013 as a Junior: Recognized as Men's Teammate of the Year...Named to GNAC All-Academic Team...Team's No. 2 runner at NCAA West Region Championship (10K) with an 80th-place finish (34:11.34)...Led team at GNAC Championship (8K), placing 27th overall (26:02.88), which was an improvement of six places and 25.5 seconds from 2012 meet...Led Nanooks at 40th annual Western Cross Country Classic (10K) with a 39th-place showing (33:26)...Led Nanooks to SMU Invitational (8K) title with runner-up individual finish (25:52.34)..No. 2 team runner at Big Wave Invitational (5K), finishing 11th overall (16:45.76)...Opened season in ninth place (27:09.9) at Alaska Invitational long-course race (8K).

Prior To Alaska: Attended Southern Oregon University for one semester before transferring to Alaska in the spring of 2011...Was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and swimming (2005-08) at Astoria High School...Also ran track at AHS for three seasons (2006-08).

Personal: Son of Christina and Peter MacDougall...Majoring in foreign language (French).
