Biography

2012-13 as a Senior: 1Competed in seven events at PCSC Championship, highlighted by 18th-place finish in 800 freestyle relay...Swam in six individual events at PCSC meet, with a 28th-place showing in 500 freestyle and five other top-40 finishes...Won two relays during dual-meet season while also finishing second in two relays and taking third in five total events (2 individual).

2011-12 as a Junior: Team's co-captain...21st in 200 backstroke, 23rd in 200 freestyle and competed in three other events at 2012 PCSC Championship...Part of winning 200 freestyle relay team vs. Cal Baptist (Oct. 28) along with 17 other top-three finishes in dual meets this season...Spring 2012 Academic Walk honoree.

2010-11 as a Sophomore: At the Husky Invitational she helped the 200 Freestyle Relay to a 15th place finish, the 400 Medley Relay to a 14th place finish, anchoring the 800 Freestyle Relay to a 12th place finish, and the 200 Medley Relay to a 13th place finish; individually she swam a season best in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:01.31 and placed 20th in the 200 Backstroke with another season best time of 2:13.00; in February at the PCSC Championship, O'Leary helped the 200 Freestyle Relay to a 10th place finish with a time of 1:43.49 and the 400 Freestyle Relay to a 5th place finish with a time 3:38.86; it was the 400 Freestyle Relay's finish that clinched the 4th place Conference finish for the Nanooks; individually she scored point in all three of her individual events with a 23rd place finish in the 200 Freestyle and a pair of 16th place finishes in both the 100 and 200 Backstroke; was recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

2009-10 as a Freshman: O'Leary joined the Nanooks and was clearly a strong contributor to the team; in November by leading the 200 Freestyle Relay to a 21st place finish at the Toshiba Classic Invitational as well as aiding the 400 Freestyle Relay to an 18th place finish; individually she swam a lifetime best in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:59.53; in February at the PCSC Championship she again led the 200 Freestyle relay to an 11th place finish and the 400 Freestyle Relay to a 9th place finish; O'Leary individually scored points for the Nanooks with her 12th place finish in the 100 Backstroke in a lifetime best of 1:00.19 and her 15th place finish in the 200 Backstroke with another lifetime best of 2:11.64. 

High School: MVP of her Seward HS swim team from 2007-09; member of the Seward Tsunami Swim Club for eleven years; 6th place in 200 fly at the 2009 Junior Olympics. 

Personal: Daughter of Karen and Patrick O'Leary; majoring in Biological sciences with a minor in Elementary education.
