2012-13 as a Senior: Averaged a 583.7 in air rifle and 576.3 in smallbore...Charted a 585 in air rifle leading the Nanooks at the match against North Carolina...Placed in the top five with a score of 576 in smallbore in the match against University of of Texas El Paso...Shot a season-high of 589 in air rifle in the match against West Virgina University...Third for the Nanooks in smallbore with a score of 576 against Texas Christian University...Shot a season-high of 580 in smallbore at NCAA qualifiers...At the NCAA Championships Bures shot a 568 in smallbore and a 581 in air rifle to help the Nanooks finish fourth in the nation...Received All-American Honorable Mention in smallbore.

2011-12 as a Junior: Averaged 582 in air rifle and 574.8 in smallbore...Totaled a season-high 590 in air rifle during the first match of the season at Ole Miss on October 5th...Two days later Bures charted a season-best 584 in smallbore at Tennessee-Martin.

2010-11 as a Sophmore: Bures started off strong with a 587 in air rifle and a 575 in smallbore to help the team in their win over Tennessee-Martin...Claimed the match-high score with teammate Hjelmevoll in air rifle with a 591 on the second day against Tennessee-Martin...Earned the match-high score in the Nanooks win over Citadel with a 590 in air rifle...At the NCAA Qualifiers Bures shot a 569 in smallbore and a 584 in air rifle, earning him a spot on the shooting team for Alaska's NCAA  Championship team...At the NCAA Championships, Bures shot a 571 in smallbore and a 578 in air rifle helping the Nanooks finish sixth in the nation...Earned All-American Second Team honors in smallbore.

2009-10 as a Freshman: Bures had a solid freshman season with the Nanooks...At the NCAA Qualifiers he shot a 573 in smallbore.

Prior to Alaska: Member of the Southeast Nebraska Shooting Sports Club for 4 years...State Champion of smallbore; State Champion of Precision Air Rifle...Team Captain for the State Champion Smallbore and Air Rifle Team from years 2006-09...Placed 11th nationally in the American Legion Jr. Air Gun. 

Personal: Son of Krystolyn and David Bures; brother, Jace, shot on the team for Nanooks (2006-2010)...Currently majoring in Natural Resource Management.
