2013-14 as a Junior: Turned in pair of top-25 finishes, taking 17th (43:42.9) in 15K free skate mass start and 23rd (32:57.4) in 10K classic...Registered two top-10 finishes at Telemark Distance Series, placing fifth (27:44.8) in 10K classic and ninth (39:49.4) in 15K free skate mass start event...Qualified for the quarterfinals of 1.5K classic sprint at U.S. Nationals, finishing fourth in his heat while also placing 36th (42:15.0) in 15K classic and 53rd (1:27:23.6) in 30K mass start...Opened season at Alaska Nordic Cup with third-place finish (27:51.7) in 10K freestyle technique while being a member on Alaska's 'B' mixed-gender relay that beat UAA's 'A' relay.

2012-13 as a Sophomore: Started off the season placing 5th in the 7.5K Classic with a time of 22:24 at the Nordic Cup...Raced to a 21st overall finish in the 30K Classic ranking 3rd in the CCSA with a time of 1:28:47 and finished 98th overall in the 15K Freestyle ranking 13th in the CSSA with a time of 41:45:00 at US Nationals...Finished 8th in the 20K Classic with a  time of 48:06:00 at the Supertour...Helping the Nanooks place 3rd overall at the CCSA Championships, Loffler fnished 3rd in the 10K Classic with a time of 26:24:00 and finished 8th in the 20K Freestyle with a time of 57:08:00...Sprinted his way to two 9th place finishes in the 10K Classic with a time of 32:04:00 and the 15K Freestyle with a time of 41:11:00 at the NCAA Central Competition which helped the Nanooks take second place overall...Qualified for the NCAA Championships...Finished his season at the NCAA Championships, placeing 31st in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 28:13:00 and finished 40th in the 20K with a time of 57:15:00.

2011-12 as a Freshman: Started his Nanooks skiing career with a strong start, finishing fourth in the 5K Classic with a time of 14:09 and 11th in the 5K Freestyle with a time of 30:39 in the Nordic Cup...Finished 23rd overall at the US Cross Country Championships in January in the 1.6K Sprints...During the Hilltop Invitational, Loffler sprinted to a fourth place finish in the 1.4K helping the Nanooks win the title...Placed sixth in the 20K Classic with a time of 1:03:08.6 at the CCSA Championships...Finished the season leading the Nanooks at the NCAA Central Regional Championships with a second place finish in the 15K Classic with a season best time of 40:48.9.

Prior to Alaska: Attended Robert Gerwig School where he skied...Ran cross country and played soccer...Earned two gold medals at the German Junior National Championships in 2008 and 2010 as well as three silvers from 2007-09...Winner of the German Cup in 2008 and 2009.
