2012-13 as a Sophomore: Started off the season strong placing first on day one in the 7.5K Classic and third in the 10K Freestyle on day two at the Alaska Nortic Cup...Finished 20th overall in the 1.3K Classic with a time of 2:59:09 at US Nationals ranking first in the CCSA...Qualified for the 2013 World Junior Championships in Czech Republic for the U.S. Junior Ski team...Raced his way to a second place finish in the 10K Classic on day one with a time of 31:16:00 and a eighth place finish in the 15K Freestyle on day two at the NCAA Central Competition which helped the Nanooks take second place overall...Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row...Had two top-25 finishes at NCAA's, finishing 17th in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 27:10:00 and 25th in the 20K with a time of 51:30:00...Received Team's Dr. Wood Scholar-Athlete of the year. 

2011-12 as a Freshman: Began his career with Nanooks with a strong start, taking first place in the 5K Classic during day one of the Nordic cup with a time of 13:47...Raced his way to an 11th place finish in the 15K Freestyle at the US Cross Country Skiing Championships, Hanneman finished as the top junior (under 20 years old) with a time of 31:04.3...Qualified for the 2012 World Junior Championships in Turkey for the U.S Junior Ski Team...During the Hilltop Invitational, sprinted the 1.4K with a top time of 3:24.5 to help the Nanooks take first place overall...Selected to the All-CCSA first team as a rookie...Rounded out his strong freshman season debuting in the NCAA Championships with two top-25 finishes, finishing 22nd in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 27:01.8 and 23rd in the 20K with a time of 1:00:07.8. 

Prior to Alaska: Graduate from Lathrop High School...Former member of the Fairbanks Alaska Ski Team...Was a member of Team USA at the Junior I Scandinavian Cup in 2011...Earned three gold medals at the Junior Olympic Nordic Ski National Championships in 2011...Earned both titles at the Alaska State Ski Championships and received the Skimeister Award...Also a 3-year letterwinner on Lathrop's swim team...Member of the National Honor Society and a UA Scholar.
