2013-14 as a Junior: Awarded men's team MVP award...NCAA Championships qualifier...All-Central Region accolade...First Team All-CCSA honoree...USCSCA All-Academic Team...Just missed All-America honors at NCAA Championship with 11th-place finish (25:49.9) in 10K classic at NCAA Championships while also finishing 26th (44:56.4) in 20K free skate mass start...Helped Nanooks to team classic title with runner-up finish (29:55.7) in 10K classic at NCAA Central Region Championships...Named All-Region after placing fifth (41:23.5) in 15K free skate mass start...Swept the podium at the CCSA Championships as the individual champion in both races...Opened CCSA weekend with first-career conference championship finish (20:17.8) in 10K classic...Rounded out CCSA Championships with title win (40:23.4) in 20K free skate mass start after taking lead in final 5K...Pair of top-10 finishes at Telemark Distance Series with 7th-place showing (27:55.4) in 10K classic and 8th-place finish (39:09.7) in 15K free skate mass start...Finished third in 2014 College Cup at U.S. Nationals after qualifying for the championship final in the 1.5K free technique skate sprint (2nd among collegians) and grabbing 24th place (41:17.4) in 15K classic...Qualified for quarterfinal round of 1.5K classic sprint at U.S. Nationals, taking fourth in his heat (3:52.2) and also placed 45th (1:25:48.8) in 30K free skate mass start...Opened season at Alaska Nordic Cup with runner-up showing (27:19.8) in 10K freestyle technique and was member of winning mixed-gender relay (1:34:51.1) in the 30K event.

2012-13 as a Sophomore: Started off the season strong placing first on day one in the 7.5K Classic and third in the 10K Freestyle on day two at the Alaska Nortic Cup...Finished 20th overall in the 1.3K Classic with a time of 2:59:09 at US Nationals ranking first in the CCSA...Qualified for the 2013 World Junior Championships in Czech Republic for the U.S. Junior Ski team...Raced his way to a second place finish in the 10K Classic on day one with a time of 31:16:00 and a eighth place finish in the 15K Freestyle on day two at the NCAA Central Competition which helped the Nanooks take second place overall...Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row...Had two top-25 finishes at NCAA's, finishing 17th in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 27:10:00 and 25th in the 20K with a time of 51:30:00...Received Team's Dr. Wood Scholar-Athlete of the year. 

2011-12 as a Freshman: Began his career with Nanooks with a strong start, taking first place in the 5K Classic during day one of the Nordic cup with a time of 13:47...Raced his way to an 11th place finish in the 15K Freestyle at the US Cross Country Skiing Championships, Hanneman finished as the top junior (under 20 years old) with a time of 31:04.3...Qualified for the 2012 World Junior Championships in Turkey for the U.S Junior Ski Team...During the Hilltop Invitational, sprinted the 1.4K with a top time of 3:24.5 to help the Nanooks take first place overall...Selected to the All-CCSA first team as a rookie...Rounded out his strong freshman season debuting in the NCAA Championships with two top-25 finishes, finishing 22nd in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 27:01.8 and 23rd in the 20K with a time of 1:00:07.8. 

Prior to Alaska: Graduate from Lathrop High School...Former member of the Fairbanks Alaska Ski Team...Was a member of Team USA at the Junior I Scandinavian Cup in 2011...Earned three gold medals at the Junior Olympic Nordic Ski National Championships in 2011...Earned both titles at the Alaska State Ski Championships and received the Skimeister Award...Also a 3-year letterwinner on Lathrop's swim team...Member of the National Honor Society and a UA Scholar.
