2013 as a Senior: Named to GNAC All-Academic Team...Led Nanook at NCAA West Region Championship (10K) in 69th place (33:54.35), which was nearly two minutes faster than his 2012 race and 36 places higher...Second Nanook at GNAC Championship (8K) with 41st-place finish (26:23.55)...Second for Alaska at Western Cross Country Classic (10K) in 40th place (33:27)...Took fourth place (26:58.71) at SMU Invitational (8K) to lead Alaska to team title...Took 23rd (17:11.09) at Big Wave Invitational (5K) in Hawai'i...Opened year in 16th place (27:48.1) at Alaska Invitational long-course race (8K).

2012 as a Junior: Named to GNAC All-Academic Team...Placed 13th in both the 8K and 4K at the Alaska Invitational...20th at SMU 8K...Ranked 3rd among the Alaska's men team 10K at WWU CC Classic... Competed at both GNAC Championship and NCAA West Regional Tournmant...Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award winner.

2011 as a Sophmore: Began sophmore campaign at the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational in September with a 15th place finish in the 8K with a time of 28:03.6 and an 11th place finish in the 4K with a time of 13:32.3...Raced in the GNAC Pre-Regional with a time of 26:55.74 in the 6K...At the GNAC Championships finished the 8K in 43rd place with a time of 27:01...Finished the season at the NCAA West Regional Championships in November placing 67th in the 10K with a time of 33:25...Received GNAC Academic All-Conference Team honors.

2010 as a Freshman: Joining the Nanooks this year as a freshman, Seims kicked off his collegiate career with a 22nd place finish at the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational in September with his 29:28.2 in the 8K...In October he was a member of the Western Washington University Cross Country Classic team and the top finisher for the Nanooks with his 60th place finish in the 10K in a season best time of 34:46.1...He finished out he season a member of the NCAA West Regional Championship team finishing second for the Nanooks with a 86th place finish overall in the 10K with a time of 35:38.2...Awarded Most Improved from the coaching staff at the conclusion of the season...Recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

Prior to Alaska: Three year member of Homer HS cross country running and skiing programs...Served as team captain his junior and senior year of high school.

Personal: Son of Gary and Debbie Seims...Currently majoring in Geological Engineering.
