Cross Country Skiing

2010-11:
Parry finished is final collegiate season strong; he helped the Nanooks capture their fifth straight Nordic Cup with finishing 3rd for the collegiate athletes (4th overall) on Day 1; Day 2 Parry finished 5th in the 8K Freestyle with a time of 30:58.3 and on Day 3 came in 4th in the 8K Classic with a time of 30:12.0; at the U.S. National Championships Parry had his highest career finish in the 15K Classic with 35th place and a time of 46:25.3; at the CSSA Hilltop Invitational Parry took home his first collegiate win in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 30:25.0 and came in 2nd place behind teammate Alex Morris in the 10K Classic with a time of 31:34.7; at the Mayor's Challenge 10K Skate, Parry finished 19th with a time of 25:40.6 and was the top Nanook finisher in the 15K Classic SuperTour with a 10th place finish and a time of 40:08.6; at the CCSA Championships in February, Parry finished out his collegiate career with a 7th place finish in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 31:46.2, the top Nanook finisher with his 3rd place finish in the 20K with a time of 58:20.2, and came in 10th in the 10K Classic; based on his performance this season, Parry was named to the First Team All-CCSA and was additionally named to the USCSCA All-Academic Team; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

2009-10: Named Most Improved Skier at the conclusion of the season; earned Second Team All-CCSA; landed 4th place finishes (10K and 15K Classic) at the NCAA Central Regional Skiing Championships; was Alaska's top finisher taking 6th in the 20K Classic at the CCSA Championships; 4th and 7th place among CCSA skiers in the 30K Classic and 15K Freestyle at the U.S. National Championships in Anchorage; helped his team take 2nd in the Minnesota Ski Relay; finished 18th in the Mayor's Challenge 10K Freestyle; took the 13th spot in the CCSA Ski Championships 10K Classic.

2008-09: Placed third at the Alaska Nordic Cup in the 10K Skate to help the Nanooks defeat the Seawolves of Alaska Anchorage; led the team in the 15K Freestyle at the Telemark SuperTour as he finished 16th; finished 20th at Camp Ripley in the 20K Skate race.

2007-08: Finished year as 17th-ranked CCSA skier, just missing out on an NCAA qualifying spot in the season's final weekend; recorded season-best 7th place collegiate finish (11th overall) in 10K skate race at NTN Trails; took 13th in the NCAA Central Regional's 15K Classic; came in 13th in the Classic and 17th in the Skate race at Telemark Super Tour; named the team's Most Improved Skier at the conclusion of the season.

Cross Country Running

2010: Finished 17th in the 8K at the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational in September with a time of 28:49.7; took 12th place in the 4K the following day with a time of 13:51.7; traveled to Hawaii to compete in the Chaminade Invitational, finishing 27th in the 8K with a time of 29:36.25; named to the GNAC All-Conference Team for the fourth straight year; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

2009: Finished the 8K in a time of 29:02 at the Hawaii Pacific University Invitational; named to GNAC Academic All-Conference Team.

Prior to Alaska: Silver medalist at the 2006 Arctic Winter Games in the 3 x 5K Classic Relay (skiing); 7th place finish in the 7.5K Freestyle at the Western Canadian Championships.

Personal: Son of Laurel and Bill; has a brother, Graydon; enjoys hockey and driving; currently majoring in Anthropology.
