Biography

2010-11: Helped the Nanooks in their first two wins of the season, finishing with a 583 in air rifle and a 581 in smallbore in the first match against Tennessee-Martin and a 578 in air rifle and 571 in smallbore in the second; was a member of the shooting teams in the wins against Citadel and Jacksonville State; shot a 576 in smallbore and a 574 in air rifle in the loss against Kentucky; at NCAA Qualifiers, Holsopple shot a pair of 573s in both air rifle and smallbore and earned himself on both shooting teams for Nationals; helped the Nanooks to a 5th place finish in smallbore with a 574 and a 6th place finish in air rifle with a 579, landing them 6th place overall at the NCAA National Championships; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department; selected for Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association Academic Team Honors.

2009-10:
As a freshman, Holsopple started his collegiate career shooting individually against Air Force, finishing with a 583 in air rifle and a 580 in smallbore; he shot a 576 in smallbore in the Nanooks only loss of the season against West Virginia; at the NCAA Qualifiers, he finished his first season with a 579 in smallbore and a 572 in air rifle.

  Member of Ridgeway Rifle Club for 6 years; 2009 National Champion AMU Postal Air Rifle; 4th place American Legion Air Rifle Postel; 1st Place Jr. Olympics Air Rifle State Championship Team.

Personal: Son of Michelle and Mark Holsopple; currently majoring in Business Administration.
