2008-09: Helped land Alaska with a win over Army in the competition on Jan. 21 with a smallbore score of 578 and 588 on the air rifle...season high of 593 in air rifle and a 583 in smallbore, both happened in the event against Nebraska on Oct. 26...helped contribute to team scores at every event so far in the season...First Team All-American in Air-Rifle and Smallborne Rifle.

2007-08: Won individual national title in air rifle event at 2008 NCAA Rifle Championships in West Point, firing a 594 in air gun: the highest score of the championships...earned first-team All-American honors in both smallbore and air rifle...member of the 2007-08 national champion air rifle team...shot 594 or better in each of his last four rounds of air gun...led team in scoring average in smallbore with 580.1, and second on the team in air gun average scores (589.9)...named the team[apos]s Most Valuable Player.

2006-07: Shot match-high of 593 in air rifle for the first match of the season against Navy...placed 19th in smallbore at the NCAA Championships with a score of 57...shot a 587 in the air rifle at the NCAA Championships to help the Nanooks win their ninth national title.

Prior to Alaska: European champion for juniors in 2005 (10m)...Swedish champion in 2006...participant at the World Championship in 2006.

Personal: Son of Anna and Janne Sartz...one sister, Sandra...enjoys running, rock-climbing, and cross country skiing.
