NORDIC SKI
LAST TIME OUT: 0-1 | THIS WEEK: at the U.S. Cross Country Skiing National Championships (Jan. 3-4, 6)
After falling in the annual Nordic Cup to in-state rival Alaska Anchorage earlier this month, the Alaska Nanooks men's and women's Nordic ski teams officially hit the trails this week to compete in the 2019 U.S. Cross Country Skiing National Championships located in Craftsbury, Vermont. The Nooks will compete in the 15/10km individual-start classic race on Thursday, Jan. 3, the men's and women's classic sprint races on Friday, Jan. 4 before competing in the 20/30km mas-start, freestyle race on Sunday, Jan. 6.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL | 3-5 Overall, 0-2 GNAC
LAST TIME OUT: 0-2 | THIS WEEK: vs. WWU (Jan. 3), vs. SFU (Jan. 5)
The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team returns to competition this week by hosting a pair of Great Northwest Athletic Conference contests at home. The Nanooks will take on the Western Washington Vikings on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 5:15pm AKST before hosting the Simon Fraser Clan on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1pm AKST. Both games will take place at the Alaska Airlines Court and will be the first game of an Alaska Nanooks basketball double-header with the men's team on both Thursday and Saturday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL | 4-5 Overall, 1-1 GNAC
LAST TIME OUT: 1-0 | THIS WEEK: vs. CU (Jan. 3), vs. WOU (Jan. 5)
After a thrilling 68-67 defeat over in-state rival Alaska Anchorage on Dec. 8, the Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team returns to the Alaska Airlines Court this week for a pair of GNAC matchups. The Nooks will host the Concordia Cavaliers on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 7:30pm AKST before taking on the Western Oregon Wolves on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 3:15pm AKST. Both Thursday and Saturday's game will be the second game of an Alaska Nanooks basketball double-header with the women's team.

HOCKEY | 4-12-2 Overall, 4-7-1-1 WCHA
LAST TIME OUT: 0-2 | THIS WEEK: vs. NMU (Jan. 4-5)
After almost a month off of competition, the Alaska Nanooks hockey team resumes Western Collegiate Hockey Association play at home this week, hosting the Northern Michigan Wildcats in a two-game conference series at the Carlson Center this Friday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 5. Puck-drop both nights is scheduled for 7:07pm AKST.

2018-19 Season Tickets on Sale
Season ticket packages for the upcoming Alaska Nanooks hockey, men's basketball and women's basketball games are now on sale at the Alaska Nanooks Ticketing Office located in the lobby of the Patty Center. The Alaska Nanooks Ticketing Office is open Monday through Friday 11am – 7pm AKT and Saturday's 12pm – 6pm AKT on weeks where hockey is home.
