Nanook Ski Concludes U.S. Nationals Trip

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The University of Alaska Fairbanks Men's Ski Team participated in the Freestyle Sprint event earlier this afternoon at the 2015 U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships. Junior Logan Hanneman continued his hot streak with another outstanding race, finishing eighth overall in the men's division.

Hanneman, who has been making a notable push for a spot on the Under-23 U.S. National Team, completed the sprint event in a qualifying time of 0:03:35.65. Today's finish was Hanneman's fourth race this week in which he has concluded in the top-20 at the national level.

Finishing in the top-50 for the Nanooks in the Freestyle Sprint were Stefan Hajdukovich, who concluded 47th for the men with a time of 0:04:01.47, and Isaac Lammers who finished with time of 0:04:02.08 and 49th overall.

The Nanooks are back in action January 17th and 18th for the Telemark Distance Series in Cable, Wis.
